DAY 1
Arrival Chandigarh – Drive to Thanedar

Upon arrival at Chandigarh Airport, meet and assist for the scenic drive to Thanedar (approx. 199 kms / 6–7 hours). The journey ascends gradually through pine forests and hill towns into the heart of Himachal’s apple-growing region.

Arrive at Banjara Orchard Retreat, Thanedar, set amidst apple orchards and cedar trees. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed evening—short orchard walks, mountain views, and time to unwind after the drive.

Dinner at the retreat featuring locally inspired Himachali cuisine.

DAY 2
Thanedar – Drive to Sangla

After breakfast, check out and drive to Sangla Valley (approx. 150 km / 5–6 hours). The route follows the Sutlej River before entering the picturesque Baspa Valley, known for its alpine forests and snow-capped peaks.

Arrive at Banjara Valley Retreat, Sangla, beautifully located amidst pine forests and river landscapes. After check-in, enjoy a leisurely afternoon—riverside walks, gentle exploration of the surroundings, or simply relaxing at the retreat.

DAY 3
Sangla – Chitkul Excursion

After breakfast, set out on a scenic excursion to Chitkul (approx. 20 km / 1 hour each way), the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.

Drive along the Baspa River, passing apple orchards, wooden bridges, and dramatic mountain scenery. Explore Chitkul Village, known for its traditional wooden houses, prayer flags, and panoramic views of snow-clad peaks. Visit the Mathi Temple and enjoy a leisurely walk along the riverbanks.

Enjoy lunch at a local café before returning to Sangla by afternoon. Evening at leisure back at the retreat.

DAY 4
Sangla – Drive to Theog

After breakfast, check out and begin the drive to Theog (approx. 200 km / 6–7 hours), descending from the rugged beauty of Kinnaur into the greener landscapes of the Shimla region.

Arrive at Taj Theog, a refined mountain retreat set amidst forested hills. After check-in, enjoy the evening at leisure—relax at the spa, unwind by the fireplace, or enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

DAY 5
Theog – Chandigarh Airport Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive to Chandigarh Airport (approx. 150 km / 4–5 hours) to connect with your onward flight, concluding a memorable short escape through Himachal’s orchards, valleys, and mountain luxury.
