Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet your representative and begin the scenic drive towards Kaziranga National Park
(Approx. 220 km / 5–6 hours).
En route, visit a Karbi tribal village in the foothills of Karbi Anglong. Enjoy a guided walk through the village, interacting with local families to understand Karbi traditions, indigenous architecture, farming practices, weaving, and their close relationship with forest landscapes.
Continue onward to CHORAN AHEM – Karbi Ethnic Food Center, located on NH-715 at Kaliabor (Natun Danga), for a thoughtfully prepared traditional Karbi lunch. The meal offers an introduction to regional flavors, local ingredients, and indigenous cooking techniques—an authentic cultural experience rooted in Assam’s culinary heritage.
After lunch, proceed towards Kaziranga.
On arrival, check in to your wildlife lodge or eco-resort and attend a short briefing on park rules, safari timings, and conservation guidelines.
Evening at leisure, followed by dinner and a relaxed bonfire session, soaking in the sounds of the surrounding wilderness.
Overnight: Kaziranga
Early morning, depart for an elephant safari in the Central Range (Kohora) (subject to availability), offering close encounters with Kaziranga’s iconic one-horned rhinoceros.
Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Later in the morning, enjoy a jeep safari in the Central Range, exploring open grasslands, wetlands, and river channels rich in wildlife.
After lunch and rest, head out for an afternoon jeep safari in the Western Range (Bagori), known for its high density of rhinos, wild buffalo, and birdlife.
Evening at leisure, followed by dinner and wildlife storytelling or a short documentary screening.
Overnight: Kaziranga
After an early breakfast, proceed for a morning jeep safari in the Eastern Range (Agaratoli), a quieter and scenic zone ideal for bird watching and photography.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, explore the Burapahar Range, characterized by forested hills, streams, and woodland trails—offering a distinct contrast to the park’s grasslands. Enjoy a guided forest walk or short safari drive (as permitted).
Return to the lodge by evening for leisure time, stargazing, and dinner.
Overnight: Kaziranga
After breakfast, check out from the lodge.
Transfer by road to Guwahati Airport, marking the end of a richly immersive wildlife and cultural journey through Assam.
