Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport or Srinagar Railway Station (SINA) via Vande Bharat Express (Departure Katra station: 1455 hrs / Arrival Srinagar station: 1753 hrs), meet and assist for transfer to Dal Lake.

Srinagar Airport to Dal Lake is approximately 25 kms / 50 minutes to 1 hour drive.
Srinagar Rail station to Dal Lake is approximately 22 kms / 40 minutes to 1 hour drive.
Board your traditional Kashmiri houseboat, renowned for its intricate wooden interiors. Later, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride across Dal Lake, gliding past floating gardens, lotus patches, and lakeside life with views of the Zabarwan Hills.

Kargil lies along the historic Srinagar–Leh route, set amid stark mountains and the Suru River valley. En-route visit Kargil War Memorial at Drass which commemorates the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War, offering a moving tribute against a dramatic Himalayan backdrop.
Arrive in Kargil by afternoon and later visit Munshi Aziz Bhat Museum.
Munshi Aziz Bhat Museum – A unique museum in Kargil showcasing Central Asian trade artifacts, old Tibetan manuscripts, and local heritage.

After breakfast, drive along the Indus River toward Uleytokpo. Enroute visit Mulbekh Monastery & Lamayuru Monastery (approx. 156 kms / 4 to 5 hours drive)
Mulbekh Serdung Monastery, is one of the oldest Buddhist sites in Ladakh, believed to date back to the 8th century. Perched along the Srinagar–Leh highway, it is famed for its ancient rock-cut sanctuary and rich blend of Buddhist and early Himalayan art traditions.
Lamayuru Monastery, one of Ladakh’s oldest Buddhist monasteries, dates back to the 10th century. Located on the Leh–Srinagar highway, it belongs to the Drikung Kagyu sect and is famous for its moon-like landscape, ancient murals, spiritual significance, and panoramic valley views.
Arrive at the serene village of Uleytokpo.

After breakfast at the hotel in Uleytokpo, drive towards Leh (approx. 4 to 5 hours), enjoying the scenic Indus Valley and surrounding mountains. En route, visit:
· Alchi Monastery – One of Ladakh’s oldest monasteries, renowned for its 11th-century murals, intricate wood carvings, and unique ground-level temples blending Kashmiri and Buddhist art.
· Likir Monastery – Famous for its giant gold-plated Maitreya Buddha, ancient scriptures, and serene hilltop setting offering panoramic valley views.
· Basgo Palace Ruins (photostop) – Dramatic mud-brick fort and temple complex reflecting Ladakh’s royal heritage, overlooking the Indus River.
· Sangam Viewpoint – Witness the confluence of the green Indus and muddy Zanskar rivers, a striking natural landmark near Nimmu village.
Continue the drive to Leh, arrive by evening, check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (approx. 120 Kms / 3 to 3.5 hours) via the Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads, offering breathtaking mountain vistas, winding switchbacks, and panoramic views of the high-altitude landscape.
On arrival in Nubra, visit:
Check in at the hotel/camp, enjoy dinner, and relax.
After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Turtuk (approx. 2.5 to 3 hours’ drive one-way), a remote Balti village near the Indo-Pak border.
Explore:
Return to Nubra by evening, have dinner, and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Pangong Tso via the Shyok–Agham route (road conditions permitting approx. 170 kms / 4 to 5 hours drive), traversing high-altitude landscapes and vast plains.
Arrive at Pangong Lake, a stunning high-altitude lake stretching across India and Tibet.
Check in at the lakeside camp/hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax under the starry sky.
After an early breakfast, depart for Hanle (approx. 239 kms / 5–6 hours drive), passing through the remote, windswept Changthang plateau dotted with nomadic settlements and rugged landscapes.
On arrival, visit:
Evening free for stargazing in one of the clearest skies on Earth. Dinner at the homestay/hotel.
After breakfast, drive back to Leh (approx. 260 Kms / 5–6 hours) through expansive high-altitude plains, snow-capped peaks, and remote mountain passes.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight.
