DAY 1
Arrival Nagpur – Drive to Tadoba

Arrive at Nagpur Airport, where you will be met and driven to Tadoba Tiger Reserve (approx. 3-4 hours / 140 km), passing through scenic countryside and small villages.
Check in at your jungle lodge and enjoy lunch. Later, take a leisurely evening safari into the forest to spot wildlife at waterholes.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

 


Overnight: Tadoba

DAY 2
Tadoba – Morning & Afternoon Wildlife Safaris

Start early with a morning jeep safari through the Moharli or Tadoba zone, guided by experienced naturalists. Keep an eye out for tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and herds of spotted deer. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.

After lunch, set out on an afternoon safari, exploring a different zone or area near waterholes to increase chances of wildlife sightings. Sunset in the forest offers excellent photography opportunities.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.


Overnight: Tadoba

DAY 3
Tadoba – Morning Safari & Leisure

Enjoy a final morning safari, focusing on zones less explored on previous days. Return for breakfast and some leisure time at the lodge, soaking in the forest ambience or enjoying a guided nature walk.

Optional evening safari or a visit to nearby tribal villages for cultural insights. End the day with dinner at the lodge.

 


Overnight: Tadoba

DAY 4
Tadoba – Drive to Nagpur & Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nagpur (approx. 3-4 hours). If time permits, enjoy a short city sightseeing tour of Nagpur, including Futala Lake, Deekshabhoomi, or Nagpur Central Market.

Transfer to Nagpur Airport to board your onward flight, concluding an unforgettable wildlife escape.

Best Months to Visit

  • October to June: Ideal for tiger sightings and safaris.
    • October – March: Comfortable weather, forests are lush after monsoon, high wildlife activity near water sources.
    • April – June: Hot summer months, animals congregate near waterholes, increasing chances of spotting tigers.
  • July – September: The reserve is closed during monsoon due to heavy rainfall and forest inaccessibility.

Safari vehicles are jeeps with experienced naturalists, and the number of vehicles per zone is limited to prevent disturbance to wildlife.
