DAY 1
Arrival Srinagar – Houseboat Experience

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport or Srinagar Railway Station (SINA) via Vande Bharat Express, meet and assist for transfer to Dal Lake.

Note: (Vande Bharat train does not operate on Wednesdays)

Srinagar Airport to Dal Lake is approximately 25 kms / 50 minutes to 1 hour drive.

Srinagar Rail station to Dal Lake is approximately 22 kms / 40 minutes to 1 hour drive.

Check in to your traditional Kashmiri houseboat, known for its handcrafted wooden interiors. In the evening, enjoy a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake, passing floating gardens, lotus patches, and lakeside homes with views of the surrounding hills.

Dinner served onboard.



Overnight: Srinagar (Houseboat)
DAY 2
Sonmarg Day Excursion

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg (approx. 80 km / 2.5 to 3 hours), famously known as the “Meadow of Gold.”

On arrival, admire sweeping views of snow-clad peaks and the Sindh River. Visit Thajiwas Glacier (by pony or on foot, depending on conditions) and enjoy free time to soak in the alpine atmosphere.

Return to Srinagar by evening.

Dinner at the hotel / houseboat.



Overnight: Srinagar
DAY 3
Srinagar – Drive to Gulmarg

After breakfast, check out and drive to Gulmarg (approx. 70 km / 2–2.5 hours).

Arrive in this iconic hill resort set amid vast meadows and panoramic mountain views. Check in at your hotel.

Later, enjoy leisure time in the meadows or take the Gulmarg Gondola ride (Phase 1; subject to weather and availability), offering spectacular alpine vistas.

Overnight: Gulmarg
DAY 4
Gulmarg – Drive to Pahalgam

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Pahalgam (approx. 140 km / 4–5 hours), passing scenic countryside and saffron fields (seasonal).

Arrive in Pahalgam, a charming valley town set along the Lidder River. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure—ideal for a gentle riverside walk or relaxation amid pine forests.

Overnight: Pahalgam
DAY 5
Pahalgam – Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the beautiful surroundings of Pahalgam.

Visit Betaab Valley, known for its lush green landscapes and cinematic beauty, followed by Aru Valley, offering peaceful meadows and mountain views. Optional pony rides or short walks can be enjoyed at leisure.

Afternoon free for relaxation or personal exploration.

Dinner at the hotel.



Overnight: Pahalgam
DAY 6
Pahalgam – Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, check out and drive to Srinagar Airport or Srinagar Rail station.

Pahalgam to Srinagar Airport is approximately 95 kms / 2.5 to 3 hours’ drive.

Pahalgam to Srinagar Rail station is approximately 85 kms / 2 to 3 hours’ drive.

Departure Options:

  • By Flight: Transfer to Srinagar Airport for onward journey
  • By Train: Transfer to Srinagar Railway Station (SINA) to board the Vande Bharat Express
