DAY 1
Arrival Leh – Rest & Acclimatization

Arrive at Leh Airport (3,500 m altitude) and transfer to your hotel.

This day is reserved entirely for rest and acclimatization. Guests are advised to stay at the hotel, drink plenty of fluids, and avoid physical exertion.

Dinner at the hotel.



Overnight: Leh
DAY 2
Leh – Sham Valley Excursion

After breakfast, proceed for a short and scenic excursion to Sham Valley, ideal for gentle sightseeing.

  • Magnetic Hill – a fascinating natural optical illusion
  • Gurudwara Pathar Sahib – a revered Sikh shrine
  • Sangam Viewpoint – confluence of the Indus & Zanskar Rivers

Return to Leh by afternoon. Evening free for leisure, café hopping, or optional local market visit.

Dinner at the hotel.



Overnight: Leh
DAY 3
Leh – Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

After breakfast, check out and drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (approx. 5–6 hours).

En route enjoy spectacular mountain views. Upon arrival in Nubra, visit:

  • Diskit Monastery with its giant Maitreya Buddha statue
  • Hunder Village, known for cold desert sand dunes and Bactrian camels

Check in at your hotel or camp. Evening at leisure.

Overnight: Nubra Valley
DAY 4
Nubra – Turtuk Excursion

After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Turtuk.

Explore this charming Balti village, famous for apricot orchards, traditional houses, and unique culture shaped by its borderland history. Enjoy a relaxed village walk and interaction with locals.

Return to Nubra by evening.

Dinner at the hotel/camp.



Overnight: Nubra Valley
DAY 5
Nubra – Khardung La – Leh – Thiksey & Shey

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Leh via the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. On the way to Leh, proceed directly for sightseeing:

Thiksey Monastery – a spectacular hilltop monastery, often called Ladakh’s Potala Palace
Shey Palace & Monastery – the former royal capital with a giant Buddha statue and sweeping valley views

After sightseeing, continue to Leh and check in at your hotel.
The rest of the evening is free for rest, café visits, or a gentle walk in the old town.

Dinner at the hotel.



Overnight: Leh
DAY 6
Leh - Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight.

Tour concludes with memorable experiences of Ladakh’s valleys, monasteries, high passes, and warm local culture.
