DAY 1
Arrival Jorhat

Arrive at Jorhat Airport and meet your representative. Transfer to your hotel in Jorhat.

Rest of the day at leisure—ideal for relaxing after your journey or exploring the town and its tea gardens.

Evening can include a walk around Jorhat town and a gentle riverside stroll.

Overnight: Jorhat

DAY 2
Jorhat – Majuli Island

After breakfast, drive to Neamati Ghat and take a ferry to Majuli Island (Approx. 2 hours ferry ride).

On arrival, check in to your riverside lodge or heritage homestay.

Afternoon dedicated to exploring Majuli’s Satras (Vaishnavite monasteries), traditional mask-making workshops, and pottery villages.

Evening by the river, enjoying Majuli’s tranquil landscapes, birdlife, and sunsets over the Brahmaputra.

DAY 3
Majuli Exploration

Full day to explore Majuli’s villages, tribal crafts, and cultural heritage.

Activities include:

  • Canoeing along Majuli’s river channels
  • Visiting artisan communities for pottery, weaving, and mask-making
  • Exploring rural paths and scenic paddy fields
  • Bird watching, especially migratory species in season

Evening at leisure, soaking in the island’s serene ambiance.

DAY 4
Majuli – Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, take the ferry back to the mainland and drive to Kaziranga National Park (Approx. 4–5 hours).

Check in to your wildlife lodge or eco-resort.

Evening at leisure or optional short nature walk around the lodge.

DAY 5
Kaziranga Safaris

Early morning, enjoy a jeep or elephant safari in Kaziranga’s Central or Western Range to spot one-horned rhinoceros, swamp deer, wild buffalo, and birds.

Return for breakfast and relax.

Later, embark on a second safari in another park range, capturing the park’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.

Evening at leisure with dinner at the lodge.

DAY 6
Kaziranga – Jorhat Airport | Departure

After breakfast, check out and drive to Jorhat Airport
(Approx. 4 hours) for your onward flight, concluding a journey through Assam’s river islands, cultural heritage, and wildlife sanctuaries.

(Kaziranga and Majuli are best explored during dry months; monsoon may disrupt ferry crossings)
